Summer Organized Play begins Friday May 2nd

Our regular summer schedule for Monday thru Friday morning play is just around the corner.  We've endured the offseason months and are ready to get together with the community for some mixed play opportunities!  Just grab your paddle and head over to the courts and you know a big group of your friends and court competitors will be waiting for you to join them.  Knowing you can go to the courts and get a game with lots of different players is one of the great things about our sport!  And everyone is always invited!

We will be following the same schedule as the previous years with Open Play on Mondays and Wednesdays, Rated Play on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Gameday on Friday.  We also hope to add another gameday-type activity on Tuesdays, especially prior to the tourney so our local doubles teams can get ready for the competition.  

The weekly schedule will be as follows:

• Monday & Wednesday 9am-noon
  Open play format using paddle racks with a 2-in/stay-2 rotation.  After each game, 2 players from the paddle rack enter the court and you each play two games before coming off.  First game of the day, the winners stay.

• Tuesday & Thursday 9am-noon
  Open play format but grouped into skill levels (aka Rated Play).  Use the paddle rack for the skill group you wish to join and follow the 2-in/stay-2 rotation.

• Friday Gameday

• 8am - 9:30 Ladder play.  You will be grouped with similar skilled players and move up or down the "ladder" based on your game results.

• 9:30 - 11:00 Round Robin (or sometimes other games).  Join in and play different players every game.

There will be a discussion of Organized Play at our annual meeting on April 29th.
